GUTTERS

K-Style: We install 5” and 6” K-style gutters with aluminum hangers every 2’.  All miters are hand-cut and sealed with 100% silicone.  The gutters are leveled to drain with downspouts and elbows as needed.

Half-round: Otherwise regarded as the “traditional look of gutters” due to the fact that the majority of historic European architecture includes the copper version of this half-round gutter.  Half-rounds provide an upscale look that distinguishes a home to showcase almost any style from historic to modern.  Our half-round gutters use a hidden hanger similar to K-style gutter installation.  It also includes a reverse bead or inward rolling that means the coil only needs to be painted on one side because the back side isn’t exposed (if copper metal is chosen then no painting occurs).  Half-rounds are available in copper, aluminum or galvalume.

Notes on copper half-rounds:
1) Untreated copper takes years to oxidize; first turning brown and eventually green
2) Copper is more malleable than aluminum and allows for more ornamental features
3) Copper is more expensive than aluminum, but will last as long as 2 times as long or +40 years!

Gutter Guard
A guard screens over the top of the gutter with reinforced edges for rigidity and strength.  The guard lies under your shingles on the back side and is screwed into the lip of the front side of the gutter.

Gutter Cap

More effective than gutter guard or vinyl caps which can clog or cave in with heavy leaves or twigs.  Gutter cap can even prevent accumulation of ice and snow or squirrel and bird nesting.  Gutter cap is a closed one-piece system that creates a barrier free environment that allows the gutters to work at full capacity.
